Baroni Capoano “Don Raffaele” Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Riserva D.O.P. 2013
"Don Raffaele" Cirò Rosso; This wine arises from an old vine variety in the heart of the Cirò territory, the “Gaglioppo”, in the old hillside vineyards with a low yield from each vine. A wine authority and prestige of Baron Raffaele, an expert with the pen and the law who lived mindful of the weak and fought widely for his country. The grapes are allowed to mature on the hillside until the second half of October, then they are subject to a lengthy steeping followed by ageing in steel barrels for at least three years. This wine is produced in limited quantities and available in strictly numbered bottles.
