Piandaccoli Pugnitello Rosso Del Rinascimento
IGT Toscana 2013
Piandoccoli vineyards are entirely based on Pliocene deposits and the marine Neogene cycle that characterizes the plains of the Apennine orogeny creating the typical gentle outline of the hilly lowlands. A gentle outline that is often brought to an abrupt halt by the presence of vertical erosive features which are a characteristic feature especially in the Piandaccoli area: The so-called “ravines “ which are extremely beneficial in bringing a variable to the micro-climate in the area, creating ascensional currents that mitigate the hotter summer temperatures.
